Barix third generation AudioPoint helps end users deliver near real-time audio to mobile devices over a local Wi-Fi connection. AudioPoint 3.0 is based on a brand-new hardware platform and is able to stream live audio to as many as 250 clients per device. The latest release of Barix’s product works with more routers and has been optimized to address also applications for the hearing impaired. Of course AudioPoint can be used for all other applications such as giving a voice to a digital signage screen, lobby TV and real time translation services, allowing to broadcast the life translation of an event to the listeners Apple or Android phone at seminars, conferences or for mass translation in churches.

Audio Point is the powerful solution from BARIX to stream live audio as unicast stream to hundreds of listeners. The audio point device encodes an analog audio source in near real time to a digital format (MP3, CM, G.711,G.722) and streams it as unicast over a wireless router to the user’s smartphones . Ideal for a wide spread audio distribution, Barix Audio Point is the perfect solution to personalize the sound of live events and university lectures. Barix Audio Point enables an intimate entertainment of the customer without disturbing the business environment with voice or music.
